Lecture Series Week3 - Summary Writing
Kay Hammond, an academic adviser at Unitec, gave a lecture on how to learn a language more quickly and effectively. Although sh explained a number of strategies, the one that stood out for me was the one about live the language. She suggested trying to feel language which has emotions.

Another useful strategy was steady study. Kay explained that studying steadily is more important than studying a lot just before the test.

Overall, I found this lecture very useful. Although I can not use them all, I am certainly going to try some of them.

I don't have a definite future plan before I go to research.I think I need study more English then choose a University course. So I go to research  the Unitec student information centre.

Then I find some infomation brochures at Unitec course information

                                               Faculty Technology and Built Environment

Nation Certificate in Real Estate

Unitec course information stuff

I don't kown choose which course,so I decide to record interview

                                   Presentation at class

                    Task 2  Reflection Writing

For task 2 I need research my own future plans. Before I start this Task I don't have a definite future plan. I want to be a social worker. But my classmates tell me I need a high English skill to be a social worker.I don't like study English. So I decide search some Information on the Internet. In fact,I'm not ture about my future study. So I make a interview with Monica who work in the Unitec courseimformation.I think is difficult to clarfy my future plans. I want to be a breeder or social worker, but the salary for them are not too much. My aunt tell me that I can to be a electrician,it is not too hard. I think my physics is not too bad,so I decide to be a electrician.
I feel this Task is a good Task,it let you think over your future plan. we can kown what we need to study. We can search some information on the internet about our future study options.
I have some problems during this task. When I record the video,I am nervous about that and sometimes I forgot  the words. When I was nervours I start mumble. When I start speaking my voice is very still. The biggist problem is my english grammar is not good and I'm a little bit shy.
During this task,I feel English is very important for our future. We must study English very hard, because we live in a country which speak English. When we go to hospital or school,we need good English skill to communicate with people. I have some idea to improve my English, for example ,we can listening the broadcast and watch the English movie. We can also reading some novel to improve reading skills and remember more vocabulary. Speak to kiwi is a good idea too.
Overall, I think this Task is very useful for me. I got some information from this task. It can help me plan to my futrue life. But I still need to improve my English skill especialy my english grammar. I hope I can get up courage when I presentation at class.I think next time I'll do my best to do my job.
            Thanks.
